As spring gets underway, the town is working to fill several open positions
LITTLETON — As spring gets underway, the town is working to fill several open positions, including in public works and parks and recreation, and, under the latest timeline, is hoping to have in place a new permanent town manager by the start of summer. During the Select Board meeting April 22, interim town manager Paul Smith gave an update of all open positions as well as those recently filled. Following the April 5 departure of former Department of Public Works director Doug Damko, the opening for the director position closed on April 19. A selection committee gathered on Thursday to begin the process and go over what Smith said is a healthy amount of applicants for the job.
