Three women were taken to Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital

ST. JOHNSBURY — Three women were taken to Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital on Monday afternoon when the car they were in was struck by a dump truck at the Railroad Street and Concord Avenue intersection. The Optima was entering the intersection from Sand Hill on the west side just as Richard Cleveland, 65, of Irasburg, was entering the intersection driving a Freightliner dump truck, heading south on Railroad Street. Cleveland was not injured. The truck, owned by Kirk Fenoff and Son Excavating, was able to be driven from the scene after the damaged bumper was pulled away from the front driver’s side tire.
