St. Johnsbury Little League 10-12 boys have won the Vermont state championship
The St. Johnsbury Little League 10-12 boys have won the Vermont state championship. Last night they celebrated with an escorted parade through most of the downtown area. St. Johnsbury beat Champlain Valley 8 to 5 , on Maddox Stacey’s three-run homer to get the lead – and the win – in extra innings. The St. Johnsbury state champions will now play in the Little League Regional Tournament against the Massachusetts state champion, in Bristol, CT next Saturday at 10 am. The last time St. Johnsbury Little League was in the Regional Tournament was 38 years ago in 1985.
