Finally, an applicant has come forward

LYNDON — Finally, an applicant has come forward. The Planning Commission on Wednesday interviewed its first candidate for the vacant Planning and Economic Development Administrator Position, which has been unfilled since April 28. The 45-minute interview occurred during a non-public session, and the candidate’s name was not divulged. Next, the candidate will sit down with the Select Board, who have the final say. The date of the Select Board interview is to be determined. The Planning Commission will finalize a memo, detailing its impressions of the candidate, by Oct. 3. The next Select Board meeting after that is Oct. 16.
