The Development Review Board on Thursday heard plans to expand parking

LYNDON — The Development Review Board on Thursday heard plans to expand parking at the Caledonia County Fairgrounds. The Caledonia County Fair Association seeks a conditional use permit to expand three parking areas on the west side of Pinehurst Street, across from the fairgrounds. According to the fair association, the proposal would mitigate parking and traffic issues associated with the fair. DRB has 45 days to issue a decision. According to fair officials, if approved, the expanded parking lots would reduce traffic in downtown Lyndon during the fair week, particularly during peak times.
