Police are looking for those responsible for the theft of a vehicle from the driveway of a Vershire residence on October 9. Amanda Gilman, 39, reported to Vermont State Police that her vehicle was stolen from her driveway, possibly at about 1:45 a.m. The car was described as a black 2015 Subaru Outback bearing Vermont registration KEC678, with a THULE storage container on top and a two-pronged bicycle rack on the rear. Subsequent investigation revealed the stolen vehicle traveled to Waterbury, where it was seen at an Irving gas station at 1 River Road. In addition to grand larceny and operation without the owner’s consent, the suspects are wanted for fraudulent use of credit cards. Anyone with information about the vehicle’s whereabouts or the identities of the people in the photograph is asked to contact Trooper Evan Johnson from the St. Johnsbury Barracks (802-748-3111).
