One person was killed in a three-vehicle accident on Route 110
STARK — One person was killed in a three-vehicle accident on Route 110 in Stark on Wednesday afternoon. Lefty Marshall, 33, of Bloomfield, Vt., was traveling eastbound at approximately 3:45 p.m. when his 2009 Dodge 2500 pick-up drifted across the center line into the oncoming lane and plowed into a dump truck, then struck another vehicle, according to state police. Marshall was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the 2013 GMC dump truck, 77-year-old Leo Caron of Pittsburg was transported to Weeks Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the third vehicle, a 2012 Honda Odyssey, and a passenger were not injured. The investigation is ongoing, but speed does appear to be a factor in this collision, according to state police.
