New Hampshire State Police Troop G officially announced the arrest of Deputy Town Clerk Courtney McLain

NORTHUMBERLAND, N.H. — New Hampshire State Police Troop G officially announced the arrest of Deputy Town Clerk Courtney McLain on Tuesday. McLain, 33, was charged with 14 counts of violating RSA 638:17 Computer Related Offenses and 14 counts of RSA 641:7 Tampering with Public Records. Police said McClain accessed Division of Motor Vehicle records for the purpose of processing vehicle-related transactions without proper credentials. The charges against McClain are class A misdemeanors, a crime that carries a maximum possible penalty of up to one year in jail and a $2,000 fine for each offense, the press release said. McClain was released on bail and will be arraigned at Lancaster Circuit Court on June 3.
