Littleton Community Center Awarded $500,000 Federal Grant by Governor and Council
New Hampshire’s Governor and Council approved several North Country initiatives last week, including a $500,000 federal award for the historic Littleton Community Center. The community center has been a resource available to all of Littleton’s 6,000 residents, of whom 3,480, or 58 percent, qualify as low-to-moderate income, which was a large factor for the CDFA’s request for the funding and meets the CDBG national objective by providing a direct benefit to low- and moderate-income households. CDBG funds are intended to help communities address development problems.
