Kingdom East School District Awarded $20,000 for Winter Ski Programs

Kingdom East School District has been awarded $20,000 from the Moriah Wilson Foundation to support its Winter Activities programs for students in grades K-8. According to a release from KESD, the funding will support scholarships for students in KESD schools, allowing them to participate in six weeks of skiing and snowboarding at Burke Mountain from January through March 2027. Grant funds will help cover lift passes, lessons, equipment rentals, and time on the mountain, removing financial barriers that might otherwise prevent students from participating.
