Judge Dismisses Bankruptcy Bid by Colebrook Glove Maker, Foreclosure Auction May Resume
A federal court judge has dismissed the bankruptcy petition filed by a Colebrook glove-making firm, possibly putting a postponed foreclosure auction back on the table. American Performance Polymers, which had been located in the industrial park and received more than $30 million in federal funding to ramp up production of latex gloves during the COVID-19 pandemic, filed for bankruptcy in early May, a day before a foreclosure auction had been scheduled to liquidate its assets.
