Habitual Offender Indicted on Multiple Stolen Property Charges in Coos County

Following his downstate arrest for fleeing police in a pickup truck with a stolen license plate, a habitual offender has been indicted at Coos Superior Court on a slew of stolen property charges, with the value of items reaching $10,000 or more across multiple victims.

In the September round of grand jury indictments, Jason L. Williams, 34, who has lived in West Stewartstown, is charged with five Class A felony counts and one Class B felony count of receiving stolen property while knowing the items were stolen.

Each Class A felony count carries a maximum New Hampshire State Prison sentence of 7 1/2 to 15 years.
