A short-term rental will be the subject of a public hearing

KIRBY — A short-term rental that’s been operating at 387 Gorham Drive without a required conditional use permit the past year will be the subject of a public hearing at the May 2 meeting of the Kirby Planning Board. The property owner, Todd Glowa, has obtained permits for two newer short-term rentals on Gorham Drive, but the original home he has been renting, and which has long been a source of neighborhood consternation, has yet to go through the permitting process. The Planning Board will hear Glowa’s appeal of a notice of violation. The town’s planning board has been after Glowa for more than a year to go through the now-required permitting process to operate the short-term rental.
