A domestic abuser who prosecutors said held a loaded rifle to his girlfriend’s head while threatening to kill her and knocked out some of her teeth has pleaded guilty to a sentence that lets him avoid time in state prison. In December, after being indicted by a Grafton Superior Court grand jury, Daniel Bonina, 45, of Littleton, faced a total of 30 felony and misdemeanor charges, and committing crimes while out on bail for a previous criminal offense. On March 25, Bonina pleaded guilty to felony domestic violence reckless conduct with a gun for a New Hampshire State Prison sentence of 2 1/2 to 5 years, all of which is suspended for seven years of good behavior, two years of probation, and enrollment in a batterer’s intervention program. Bonina, who is represented by attorney Leonard Harden, also pleaded guilty to two counts of misdemeanor domestic violence simple assault for a 12-month stand committed sentence in the Grafton County House of Corrections. A plea and sentencing hearing is scheduled for April 30 at Grafton Superior Court.
