A grant provided by Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital is helping Northeast Kingdom Youth Services

A grant provided by Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital is helping Northeast Kingdom Youth Services purchase supplies for young adults who will be renting their first apartment. The “Welcome Home Kit” is part of a program created by NEKYS’ staff member Star Barden. The starter kit contains numerous cleaning supplies and other household necessities to help young people as they continue their journey to independence. Community members are encouraged to help sustain the program by donating to Northeast Kingdom Youth Services. Donations can be made in the form of items purchased for the kits or monetary donations. Items can be dropped off at the NEKYS office at 63 Eastern Ave. St. Johnsbury, Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monetary donations can be dropped off or mailed to the NEKYS office. All donations are tax deductible.
