The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) on Friday issued a cyanobacteria alert
LITTLETON — The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) on Friday issued a cyanobacteria alert for Partridge Lake. Under an alert, people can continue using the lake but are advised to avoid contact with a cyanobacteria bloom. If conditions persist and worsen a warning would be issued May 15 for people to stay out of the water. The cyanobacteria activity was first observed on Thursday, and green flecks appeared accumulating along the lake-wide surface, according to Littleton Fire.
