H.O.P.E. (Helping Other People Everyday) has once again collaborated with local organizations

LYNDONVILLE — H.O.P.E. (Helping Other People Everyday) has once again collaborated with local organizations to bring back its community service project, Gifts of Warmth. This project took place February 9 in Lyndonville, and with the help of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) at Vermont State University-Lyndon and H.O.P.E. volunteers, winter hats, scarves, and new socks were hung around downtown Lyndonville to get warm items to those in need. Items were packed into waterproof, sealed bags with a short note on a Valentine’s card. The cards were made by students from Lyndon Institute’s J-Term Community Service class.
