June 3, 2025June 3, 2025 m_admin

MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont lawmakers have sent two flood recovery bills to the governor. The measures are aimed at helping the state better prepare for and respond to future disasters, and officials say they were also written with FEMA rollbacks in mind. H.397 provides municipalities with more financial tools in the aftermath of flooding or disaster. H.106 increases transparency for home buyers when looking to purchase a home that’s at risk of flooding.
