The regular firearms deer-hunting season
MANCHESTER, N.H. — The regular firearms deer-hunting season starts Wednesday, and archery season is already underway in the Granite State. The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department is reminding people to take precautions to stay safe. One way to stay visible is by wearing blaze orange, whether you’re hunting or out for a walk. If you’re enjoying the outdoors, stick to popular hiking trails. Hunters should also keep track of time, as legal hunting hours are from a half-hour before sunrise to a half-hour after sunset.
