The Jerry Mike Ramirez trial will begin on July 15

The Jerry “Mike” Ramirez trial will begin on July 15. Ramirez, 37, of Brooklyn, N.Y, is accused of shooting and killing 44-year-old St. Johnsbury resident Vincent Keithan in the parking lot at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital on the morning of March 1, 2022. Ramirez is now being held without bail on the 2nd-degree murder charge and aggravated assault at Northeast Correctional Complex in St. Johnsbury. He pleaded not guilty to the charges. Ramirez was also accused by the Caledonia County State’s Attorney’s Office of assaulting a woman in a car parked outside the NVRH Emergency Room just before the alleged shooting death of Vincent Keithan.
