St. Johnsbury man charged for filming intimate video without consent.

A St. Johnsbury man who works in the mental health industry has been charged with secretly filming an intimate video of a woman without her permission. Scott Fletcher, 56, pleaded not guilty Monday to charges of misdemeanor voyeurism-sexual act and felony impeding a public officer. The alleged victim – a 50-year-old woman – reported the incident to St. Johnsbury Police in May. Police said Fletcher admitted he had taken the movie without her consent. The filming, by cell phone, occurred at Fletcher’s apartment in St. Johnsbury. Police also uncovered some photos of the alleged victim, shot from behind. In July, police executed a search warrant at Fletcher’s workplace – the Clara Martin Center in Bradford, Vt. Fletcher faces a possible sentence of up to five years in prison and $ 1,500 fines.
