Northumberland police have arrested a Glover, Vt. man

As part of a collaborative investigation with Berlin police, Northumberland police have arrested a Glover, Vt. man for felony drug possession. Shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday, Brannan Lacourse, 32, was taken into custody after a motor vehicle stop was made along Route 110. He is charged with two Class B felony counts of possessing a controlled drug/narcotic, one Class A felony count of possession with intent to distribute, two Class A misdemeanor counts of transporting drugs in a motor vehicle, two Class A misdemeanor counts of disobeying a police officer, and a misdemeanor count of driving after suspension. The Coos County Sheriff’s Department assisted the investigation in a supporting role. Lacourse, who has also lived in Colebrook, according to police records, was processed at the Northumberland police station and bail was set at $500 cash or corporate surety bond. He was released on cash bail and arraignment is scheduled for June 3 at Lancaster District Court.
