New Hampshire Marks National Preparedness Month With Focus on Emergency Readiness

CONCORD, N.H. — The New Hampshire Department of Safety’s Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSEM) is participating in National Preparedness Month throughout September to help increase emergency preparedness awareness across the state.

This year’s national theme, “Americans Stand Ready,” encourages people to take charge of their own emergency readiness.

HSEM will incorporate the theme into its messaging throughout September while also highlighting no-cost and low-cost ways residents can prepare for emergencies and disasters.
