More Select Boards in northern Grafton County have adopted the inclusivity-equality resolution
As Littleton Select Board member Carrie Gendreau remains under scrutiny for her comments on the LGBTQ+ community and public art, more Select Boards in northern Grafton County have adopted the inclusivity-equality resolution that was first adopted by the town of Bethlehem three months ago. On Monday, the Easton Select Board approved it, and in October, the town of Sugar Hill readopted its resolution to include the original wording regarding the LGBTQ+ community. The Franconia Select Board adopted its resolution on Sept. 11, and the Bethlehem board on Aug. 14, following the first North Country flare-up on the issue, which was opposition to a drag queen story at the Lancaster Public Library that was ultimately canceled.
