Authorities say a juvenile has been taken into custody

NEWPORT, N.H. – Authorities say a juvenile has been taken into custody connected to an incident involving a gun last Thursday night in Newport, New Hampshire. It happened on Whipple Road around 10:15 p.m. Newport Police say the juvenile assaulted an adult male, including firing a gun. They say no one was shot. Police on Monday said the juvenile had been located and taken into custody but is not being identified. Officials say the Claremont Police and New Hampshire State Police helped in the investigation.
