LITTLETON — A vision born several years ago and made reality through a public-private partnership was celebrated with a (metal) ribbon cutting on Tuesday — White Mountains Community College’s new advanced technology building at its Littleton campus. After the ground broke in 2022, the project experienced a few delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, funding, and supply chain challenges, but the $7.3 million, 10,000-square-foot facility is ready to serve the next generations of students. The building, located behind the Littleton Area Learning Center at 646 Union St., provides space for several in-demand vocation programs, including welding, industrial mechanics, energy technology, and the cornerstone, diesel heavy equipment.
