A motion to cut the proposed budget failed
A motion to cut the proposed budget failed during Monday’s deliberative session in Bethlehem, where voters approved a slate of warrant articles for the March town vote. At the session, residents also remembered Assistant Town Moderator Don Lavoie, who died in November. Proposed on the town meeting warrant is a 2024 operating budget of $3,582,974, which is recommended 4-0 by the Select Board and carries a tax rate impact of $6.57 per $1,000 of assessed valuation. The default budget is $3,370,220.
