Man Arrested After Report of Gunshots in St. Johnsbury

Police responded to a report of gunshots in the Elm Street, Concord Avenue area at 9 p.m. on Wednesday and arrested a man on charges that include reckless endangerment.

Rafael R. Owens, 44, was scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday in Caledonia Superior Court. Additional charges against him are disorderly conduct and illegal transfer of a firearm.

Sgt. Steven Hartwell reported that Owens was taken into custody on Concord Avenue.
