Lisbon Public Library Seeks Contractor for Repairs and Accessibility Improvements

The Lisbon Public Library is looking for a contractor to take on repairs and accessibility improvements at its historic building on School Street.

Littleton Chevrolet recently highlighted the project on social media in an effort to help the library find someone willing to do the work.

The project calls for demolition of the existing entrance stair structure, with the granite steps salvaged for reuse, along with construction of new entrance stairs and an accessibility ramp, a new sidewalk and replacement of the front entrance door, according to the town’s project specifications.

The library is seeking contractors interested in taking on the work.

Anyone interested can contact Librarian Karla Houston at 603-838-6615 or karla@lisbonpubliclibrary.com for additional information.
