Richford teen is facing charges
RICHFORD, Vt. (WCAX) – A Richford teen is facing charges after police say he threatened to blow up a Vermont school. On Friday, Vermont State Police say Keegan Lagasse, 19, Richford called them stating he was going to, “blow up” a school on Saturday. Lagasse is a former student at Richford High School. State police began an immediate investigation and determined Lagasse willfully circulated a warning, likely to cause public alarm. He has been previously charged with making similar threats in St. Albans and Richford in September, as well as a bomb threat last month. During theinvestigation, State Police worked with the Franklin Northeast Supervisory Union Superintendent to ensure prompt response and dissemination of information to school families and staff. He’s being held on $500 bail and is expected to appear in court
