One person was found dead Saturday morning following a trailer fire

LITTLETON — One person was found dead Saturday morning following a trailer fire. First responders were summoned to 12 Hilltop Manner Extension at 9:39 a.m. for a report of smoke in the building. Littleton Police officers were first on scene and entered the trailer to find one person dead, authorities said. The fire self-extinguished prior to the arrival of the fire department, authorities said. The investigation into the origin and cause of the fire is active and ongoing by members of the NH State Fire Marshal’s Office, Littleton Fire Department, and the Littleton Police Department. Positive identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of their death, is pending an autopsy scheduled for Saturday.
