17-Year-Old Admits to Main Street Graffiti in Lancaster, Police Say
LANCASTER — A 17-year-old boy admitted to spray-painting graffiti on businesses and signs along Main Street early Monday, Lancaster police said. Police Chief Jonathan Woodworth said in a press release that officers identified the suspect and interviewed him after the department was notified Monday morning that multiple properties had been vandalized. About five businesses, two political signs and several street signs were spray-painted, according to the release. Because the suspect is a juvenile, police will not release his identity. The case will be turned over to the juvenile justice system, Woodworth said.
