Vermont State Police are searching for a man who held up the Circle K gas station

Vermont State Police are searching for a man who held up the Circle K gas station in Barton just before 11 p.m. on Thanksgiving. According to a release from VSP, a store employee called the police to report that a lone male entered the Main Street store, brandished a firearm and demanded money at about 10:56 p.m. on Nov. 28, 2024. The male, described as Caucasian with a mustache and wearing a black ski mask and dark-colored clothing, made off with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect was last seen heading east on foot near Lincoln Avenue in Barton. No one was injured during the incident. Anyone with information about the identity of the male is asked to call the State Police Barracks in Derby at 802-334-8881.
