Vermont State Police are asking for the public’s in finding the man who broke into Hoagie’s Expressway in Derby and stole $300 in cash and a carton of cigarettes worth $120.m Video surveillance at the business shows the man forcing entry into the Rt. 5 store a few minutes before midnight. Trooper Nathan Handy is investigating and reported that the person forced entry into the building through a rear window. Damage done by the man to the business is estimated at $1,700.
