A Lancaster man allegedly caused a scene at the Big Apple store

LANCASTER — A Lancaster man allegedly caused a scene at the Big Apple store, then drove his car into it. Richard Ruddy, 35, of Lancaster, faces multiple counts after police say he caused a scene at the Big Apple at 215 Main St. at around 10 p.m. on Thursday and then plowed his car into the convenience store at around 1 a.m. on Friday. Ruddy declined bail services and was held at the Coos County House of Corrections pending a hearing in the 1st Circuit Lancaster District Court.
