This summer, the NoCo Mural Project is organizing a volunteer effort to update the Welcome To Littleton mural on Mill Street

LITTLETON —  This summer, the NoCo Mural Project is organizing a volunteer effort to update the Welcome To Littleton mural on Mill Street. Community paint sessions will be held during First Friday events on June 7, July 5, and Aug. 2. The NoCo Mural Project will provide paint, brushes and guidance; members of the public will be asked to color in items that have already been stenciled out, paint-by-numbers style. It will be a restoration project, to refresh the existing mural while adding some new flourishes (like flowers). Lowe’s has donated $500 worth of paint and supplies, and a fundraising campaign is underway to cover the remaining costs.
