The granite state is making sure everyone can keep the heat on

CONCORD, N.H. (WCAX) – The granite state is making sure everyone can keep the heat on. Under an emergency declaration on Tuesday, New Hampshire lifted restrictions on service hours for motor carriers delivering propane and oil for heat. The Department of Safety commissioner who signed the order says with sub-zero windchills, the extended hours will help meet the urgent need for heating supplies. The cold temperatures come as the commissioner says the state has a commercial driver shortage. The emergency declaration is temporary and expires later this month.
