State Police are on the lookout for the operator of a vehicle
State Police are on the lookout for the operator of a vehicle that fled the scene of a two-car crash on December 17 on Route 25 in Corinth. Troopers determined the vehicle was stolen out of Burlington, Vermont and was painted black to disguise it. The incident began at 10:26 a.m. when a vehicle operated by Glenn Walker, 78, of Barre was on VT Route 25 when the suspect vehicle entered the highway from Village Road, struck Walker’s vehicle and left the scene. A short time later the vehicle that fled the scene was located approximately 1/4 mile away, parked in a residential driveway. The operator was believed to have fled on foot or was picked up by another motorist. Another occupant of the vehicle was identified as Zachary James, 33, of Burlington. Anyone with information about the identity of the operator or who witnessed the crash is encouraged to contact Trooper Evan Johnson at the St. Johnsbury barracks.
