State police are investigating the Christmas Day theft
ST. JOHNSBURY — State police are investigating the Christmas Day theft of a vehicle from the St. J Subaru lot on Memorial Drive. Police received notice about 11 a.m. on Tuesday that a Subaru Forester belonging to Carol Kelley, 66, of Hardwick, had been stolen from the dealership the night before. The car had been parked in the service area at the dealership. Security cameras picked up an unidentified male walking through the lot just after 9 p.m. on Monday. The male is seen checking doors of vehicles. He found the Forester unlocked with the keys inside. He then left the lot in the vehicle.
