New Hampshire Fire and Emergency Medical Services Committee of Merit has honored Littleton Fire Rescue

In recognition of its leadership and exemplary service to the Littleton community, the New Hampshire Fire and Emergency Medical Services Committee of Merit has honored Littleton Fire Rescue with the EMS Unit of the Year award. “It’s a tremendous honor,” LFR Chief Chad Miller said Thursday. The award was bestowed Sunday during the committee’s 30th annual awards and recognition ceremony at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord. The Committee of Merit, whose mission is to “honor and recognize the heroes in our state,” comprises a number of people in the fire service and EMS who review nominations for best licensed EMS unit of the year. The committee also reviews nominations for several other annual New Hampshire fire and EMS service awards.
