Littleton voters have opted for a 5-member Select Board and an overnight camping ban
LITTLETON — Now that Littleton voters have opted for a 5-member Select Board and an overnight camping ban on municipal property, what happens next, and when? In a 721-to-641 vote, residents passed Article 48, a petition that has now changed the zoning ordinance to prohibit overnight camping on municipal property. In a vote of 789 to 566, voters passed another petition to increase the current three-member Select Board to five members. The camping ban comes after concerns about a homeless encampment on town-owned property behind Littleton Water and Light.
