Law enforcement authorities are detaining a Franklin County man
ENOSBURGH — Law enforcement authorities are detaining a Franklin County man with mental health issues after he reportedly killed his father and critically injured his mother Friday morning, Vermont News First has learned. Jordan Lawyer, 29, of Enosburgh, has been identified by authorities as the prime suspect in the deadly domestic case. Franklin County State’s Attorney Bram Kranichfeld said that his office is working closely with investigators. He said that once they have more information, he will review the case and consider possible charges. No update was available from the prosecutor late Friday afternoon about Lawyer, who had been detained at a St. Albans hospital since shortly after crashing into a patrol vehicle from Vermont Fish and Wildlife in Enosburgh late Friday morning.
