Lancaster Police Investigate Overnight Graffiti Spree Along Main Street

LANCASTER — Lancaster police are investigating an unusual overnight graffiti spree in which vandals defaced more than a half-dozen properties and several road and political signs along a roughly three-quarter-mile stretch of Main Street. The vandalism was reported early Monday after red spray-painted messages appeared at multiple locations, including Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Fuller’s Sugarhouse, Shaw’s supermarket, two trailers next to Lancaster House of Pizza and a 24-hour car wash. Five New Hampshire Department of Transportation road signs and several political signs were also defaced.
