Investigation Remains Open in Fatal September Shooting of Eric Rexford in Littleton Road Rage Incident

The state’s investigation into the Sept. 16 shooting death of a Littleton man along Pleasant Street in Littleton remains open, officials said Friday. On the night of Sept. 16, a motorist shot to death Eric Rexford, 38, whom authorities said had repeatedly rammed the shooter’s car during a rolling dispute that began around Apthorp Commons in Littleton and ended at 33 Pleasant St., just north of Main Street, where the two vehicles collided. Rexford, who was shot multiple times, was pronounced dead at Littleton Regional Healthcare. The shooter had called 9-1-1 for assistance before the shots were fired, said representatives of the New Hampshire attorney general’s office, which is leading the investigation.
