WATERFORD — Great River Hydro and the Town of Waterford have agreed to mediation in their dispute over the tax assessment of Moore Dam, according to court documents Paperwork to initiate the mediation process was filed in Caledonia Superior Court on Jan. 28. The mediation will set deadlines for evidence exchange, and if no resolution is reached, the case is expected to be trial-ready by Feb. 15, 2026.
