Getaway Driver Charged in Lyndonville Robbery
A Vermont State Police investigation of a Lyndonville robbery that happened in January led to a criminal charge for the alleged robber’s getaway driver. Michaela Plante, 28, of Fairlee, was cited by Detective Trooper Kyle Fecher for a charge of accessory after the fact. She is accused of driving her boyfriend, Dalton Kraft, 29, of Newbury, from the Mobil Mart on Broad Street on Jan. 5 after Kraft allegedly displayed a knife to the store clerk while demanding cash. Kraft was taken into custody just three days after the robbery during a traffic stop. At the time, Plante was connected to Kraft and the car he rode in after the robbery.
