Four people were seriously injured and taken to the hospital
CLAREMONT, N.H. — Four people were seriously injured and taken to the hospital after a crash in Claremont on New Year’s Eve, police said. The Claremont Police Department said a driver crashed into a parked car near Arrowhead Recreation Center around 10 p.m., pinning several people between the two vehicles. Officials said at the time of the crash, a fireworks display had just ended at Arrowhead Recreation Center. Authorities said all five people involved, including the driver and the people who were pinned, were sent to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment. At least one person was transported to the hospital by MedFlight. Claremont police said none of those injuries appear to be life-threatening.
