Four arrested in Sheffield drug bust as police seize fentanyl and guns

Lyndonville police, with the assistance of Caledonia and Essex county sheriff’s departments, arrested four people in a Sheffield home on Tuesday morning for dealing drugs. Just under 45 grams of fentanyl and loaded handguns were found in the residence at 1709 Rt. 122 when law enforcement executed a search warrant there about 6 a.m. Lyndonville Police Chief Jack Harris said that he and his officers, Dan Renaudette and Robert Gerrish, were joined by county sheriff’s department members in what he said was a well-executed warrant. The guns and drugs were seized, and the four people were arrested and taken from the residence for processing at the police department prior to arraignment in Caledonia Superior Court on Tuesday afternoon.
