Crews from Concord and Waterford fought a Saturday morning fire at a residence at 253 Ladd Road in Concord. The fire was toned shortly before 9 a.m. when according to scanner traffic, a passerby saw smoke coming from the window. St. Johnsbury and Lyndon were called to cover for Concord, and a Lunenburg pumper supplied water from Miles Pond. Concord released station coverage at 10:35 a.m. The property is owned by Gerald Chapman.
