Bethlehem Elementary School has hired a new principal
BETHLEHEM — Bethlehem Elementary School has hired a new principal. The school announced on Wednesday that staff member Bryan Smith will be elevated to principal starting July 1. In a social media post, the school board wrote, “the search committee worked tirelessly and held many interviews before determining that Bryan would be the perfect fit as our next principal.” According to his resume, Smith has worked 13 years at Bethlehem Elementary in a variety of roles. He has been a grades 3-6 classroom teacher since 2011 and has assumed additional duties in the last two years as a special educator, behavior specialist, science teacher, and information technology administrator. Since 2022, he has also been SAU 35’s special education consultant.
